Thank you for taking the time to let me share with you our heart for the people of Hickman, Nebraska. To start, I would like to tell you about my family.
I am a second generation Christian who grew up in an Independent Baptist Church in Washington, Iowa.
While attending Marion Avenue Baptist Church at the age of seven, I came to the realization of my need for Jesus. My father led me to faith in Jesus Christ and I was baptized soon after.
For the last thirteen years we have been members at Round Prairie Baptist Church serving God with our pastor, Kevin Dice.

Mrs. Howell is a second generation Christian who grew up in an Independent Baptist Church in Washington, Iowa.
At the age of six she accepted Christ in her Sunday school class at Marion Avenue Baptist Church. She was baptized shortly after that.
Mrs. Howell is actively involved in the music ministry.

We are a church “with a heart for people” and are excited to partner with the Howells and Plains Baptist Church to start a church in Hickman, Nebraska. TJ and Jess Howell have faithfully served at Round Prairie for the last 13 years. We are excited to see God bless this endeavor.
Plains Baptist Church
Lincoln, Nebraska
For years we have watched Hickman grow and have prayed for the opportunity to start a Baptist church there. In 2022, God opened the door to do that through a partnership with the Howells. We look forward to seeing how God works through this outreach.
